YFL Art & Home Decor is a handmade home decor and gift studio in Plano, TX, in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of the United States, founded and designed by artist Yolanda Fernandes Ly.

Meet the Founder

Yolanda Fernandes Ly is an artist, entrepreneur, and mom of three, the heart behind YFL Art & Home Decor.

Her love for art began early, but her journey has taken her across countries and through many chapters. Growing up Canada, studying Visual Art and Digital Media Art at Sheridan and Seneca College, and spending over a decade in the medical and orthodontic fields.

After navigating many personal challenges, from miscarrages, to auto immune disease, and mental health challenges, Yolanda found her way back to creativity. Painting became a source of healing, and from that healing, YFL was born.

Now based in Plano, Texas, Yolanda continues to share her story through handcrafted pieces that carry intention and meaning. Through her brand, she is building a legacy for her children while inspiring others to embrace creativity, resilience, and authenticity.

About the Brand

Founded in 2016, what started as a creative practice rooted in healing became a brand built on craftsmanship, intentionality, and meaningful design.

Now based in Plano, Texas, YFL creates handmade pieces for DFW families and ships nationwide.

Every piece is made by hand, from ring dishes to jewelry boxes, with beauty, durability, and meaning in mind. The work blends art and function, offering timeless pieces for real homes.

Whether it's a delicate ring dish or a statement painting, every creation reflects Yolanda's values: creativity, healing, and intention.

2016–2022 — Ontario, Canada

Yolanda began showcasing her work through juried shows and creative pop-ups celebrating handmade art and female-led entrepreneurship, including One of a Kind, Toronto Market Co, ArtFest, Etsy Made in Canada, The Artist Project, Fan Expo, and more across Ontario and the GTA.

2023 — Newmarket Creative Collective, Etsy Holiday Market, One of a Kind Show, Craftadian, Burlington Made, Hello Spring, and more.

2024 — Signature By Hand Winter & Summer Gift Tradeshows, EFTO, Etsy Waterloo, and One of a Kind Show.

2025–Present — Plano, Texas

Featured on FOX 4, CBS Texas, and WFAA ABC's Good Morning Texas. Now operating a studio in Plano and hosting hands-on craft workshops for the DFW community.
