MEET THE FOUNDER
Artist, entrepreneur, and mom of three — Yolanda is the heart behind YFL Art & Decor.
Her love for art began early, but her journey has taken her across countries and through many chapters: moving to Canada as a teen, studying at Sheridan and Seneca College, and spending over a decade in the medical and orthodontic fields.
After navigating personal challenges — from depression and chronic illness to fertility struggles — Yolanda found her way back to creativity. Painting became a source of healing, and from that healing, YFL was born.
Now based in Texas, Yolanda continues to share her story through handcrafted pieces that carry intention and meaning. Through her brand, she is building a legacy for her children while inspiring others to embrace creativity, resilience, and authenticity.

Founded over 10 years ago, what started as a creative practice rooted in healing became a brand built on craftsmanship, intentionality, and meaningful design.
Now proudly based in Plano, Texas, YFL continues to grow — creating handmade pieces for DFW families and shipping nationwide.
We continue to create each piece by hand — from bamboo tray décor to unique ring dishes — with beauty, durability, and meaning in mind. Our work blends art and function, offering timeless pieces for real homes.
Whether it’s a delicate ring dish or a statement painting, every creation reflects Yolanda’s values: creativity, healing, and intention.

Now operating a studio in Plano and hosting hands-on creative workshops for the DFW community.
Since 2016, Yolanda has been showcasing her work through juried shows and creative pop-ups that celebrate handmade art and female-led entrepreneurship.
2016–2022 Featured in major shows and artisan markets including One of a Kind, Toronto Market Co, ArtFest, Etsy Made in Canada, The Artist Project, Fan Expo, and more across Ontario and the GTA.
